Watch Party YouTubeRun a 24/7 live stream of your YouTube Library
GithubEver since I came across Lex Fridman's Podcast in college, I've been hooked. I've listened to podcasts before, but I was never religous with sticking to one.The primary reason Lex's podcast had so much impact on a lot of people is the intellectual rigour he brings to the conversations. In addition to that, Lex shows humility and humour. Why am I talking about Lex's podcast? Well, the reason I created this project, Watch Party YouTube, is because I wanted to watch Lex's episodes "live" with some of the people on the internet and chat with them, ask questions about the thing that Lex and his guest(s) are talking about.Creating a tool just to watch a podcast with strangers on the internet may seem extreme, but it had to exist, personally. And thus was born a tool which you can use to run a 24/7 live stream of your existing YouTube Library. You can upload a few of your videos, connect your YouTube live stream to the tool and it takes care of the rest. Your audience can engage with each other in the live chat.Sorry, I can't seem to find any pictures or videos of the tool. I'll keep looking.Non-obvious tools used: AWS Mediaconvert and AWS Medialive
